The STIHL MS 172 petrol chainsaw impresses with its powerful STIHL 2-MIX engine, which is known for excellent cutting performance coupled with low fuel consumption. The standard STIHL 3/8” P saw chain ensures precise cuts with its narrow kerf. Thanks to the STIHL anti-vibration system, you can work with the STIHL MS 172 chainsaw while protecting your muscles and joints. This means that your chainsaw runs smoothly and evenly.

The single-lever control is very convenient, enabling you to perform all functions with just one hand. If you take a break, the chainsaw is ready to use again immediately. The combi-lever with stop function automatically springs back into the operating position.
